The starlet is reportedly planning to file a law suit against Kim Kardashian for ���plagiarizing��� her nude photoshoot.���I think Kim has stolen my personal trainer, my special aata for diet chapatis, and copied my body exactly to try and look like me. I will prove that this is a case of plagiarism,��� the actress claims.
Ever since she shot to fame in 2011, when she promised to strip if the Indian Cricket team won the World Cup, she became both an Internet sensation and an object of ridicule. Three years since then, she made her debut in Bollywood, shook her leg for a Kannada film and now, she���s looking forward to making her debut in Telugu cinema. The actress will play one of the lead roles in Veeru K���s upcoming film, Malini & Co and will essay the character of a masseuse at a massage parlour.
I have more to offer than just erotic videos
���I am aware of the fact that a lot of people can���t think beyond all those erotic videos and pictures that I have been posting over the past couple of years. I guess I have left little to the imagination,��� Poonam admits. She has no qualms about everything she has done to stay in the limelight and goes a step further to quote that ���everyone has seen her���, hinting at the string of bikini photoshoots and raunchy videos. Yet, she says her debut film in Telugu will surprise people. ���I have a lot more to offer than just erotic videos. And my upcoming Telugu film will be an answer to everyone who thinks that I can���t push myself to do more. I did get couple of offers in Telugu in the past, but when I was approached for this film, I was quite pleased with the meaty role I was offered. Since I���m playing the role of a masseuse, there are bound to be plenty of bold scenes; however, the film is an action drama set in the backdrop of terrorism,��� she says, adding, ���I had a great time shooting in Hyderabad. Initially, I did have a tough time with learning my dialogues in Telugu, but it wasn���t as tough as people told me it would be.���

For a social media sensation, Poonam has done quite well for herself or so it seems. She has embraced the chaos her life has spun into. ���Ideally, I wouldn���t want people to judge me. But then who cares what people think? It really doesn���t matter to me. I love the attention. I have lots of people calling me ���hot���, ���sexy��� and I love the ���sex symbol��� tag. So far, only guys used to say this, but the crazy part is that today, even girls have begun calling me ���hot���. It���s scary at times that I elicit such reactions. But I feel blessed that my life is full of action,��� she explains.
Ask her if she has moved on from her former self to create a new identity, and she says, ���I have no regrets about whatever I have done so far. But more than that, I never thought of giving up because of pressure from various quarters. My mother gets really upset when she comes to know about some new viral video or picture of mine and my family doesn���t quite approve of my methods. But then, they see all the recognition I���ve got and that, sort of, makes them happy (laughs).���
Nothing is normal in my life
By the time she got a chance to make her movie debut with xNasha, which released in 2013, Poonam Pandey already had her tryst with the moral police brigade. ���It has only made me stronger, I guess. There was a point when I had 20 lawsuits filed against me and I was all over the news, for all the wrong reasons. It was too much to take back then. But I think I have handled my sudden fame pretty well after I became an overnight star. I don���t know if there���s anything normal about my life or if it will ever be in near future. I was happy with the response I got for my performance in Nasha and now, I���m eagerly looking forward to a new beginning in Telugu cinema,��� she signs off.
